Have you ever wondered if others can see God in you? Do you ever worry or feel frustrated that you are not a ‘glowing’ example of God to your family, friends and in the community?
When people meet me they often comment on how similar I am to my mother. I have certain features and mannerisms that are the same as hers.
I haven’t intentionally tried to develop those traits, they have naturally come because of the time I have spent with her and because I hold part of her DNA.
In Genesis we read that we have been made in the image of God. God’s original intent was for us to reflect Him.
When we spend time with God we begin to develop His characteristics.
Our responsibility is to be open to allowing God to mold us and change us.
When we allow God to work in us He reflects out of us.
