How’s your prayer life going?
Prayer has been something that I have struggled with. It has gone from long ‘Christmas list’ types of prayers to long periods of silence when I don’t know what to say.
What I have struggled with most is desiring God to respond to my prayers immediately and the way I want Him to.
The issue with this is twofold. God is not on my schedule and my ways are not always His ways!
Then I started to pray for God’s will to be fulfilled rather than my own.
What this did was give me the opportunity to bring those things that were deep in my heart and express them to God but leave the solution to Him.
This way of praying brings confidence to our prayer life because it gives us the assurance that God knows the things that are deep in our heart and that in His loving and timely way He will answer.
