Has God ever asked you to do something and you didn’t want to do it?
Recently God was asking me to rest but I didn’t want to! I didn’t feel tired but eventually decided to be obedient and take a rest. Then something completely unexpected happened.
Have you ever noticed that when a boat comes to a stop there is a bow wave that catches up with the boat and crashes against it?
I did not realise that the bow wave I had been running in front of caught up with me and I was overcome with exhaustion. I learned that God knows things that I don’t and when He is asking me to do something it is for a good reason.
Is God telling you something and you have been ignoring it?
I’m encouraging you today to stop ignoring and start paying attention because God might have something planned for you that you didn’t realize you needed.
