Are you willing to step into situations that God puts in front of you even if its inconvenient?
The other day I experienced a situation that God wanted me to step into. It wasn’t the most convenient of times but I asked myself, “do I want to be the person who just walks by like those in the story of the good Samaritan or do I want to be part of the solution?”
As I stepped into what was a tense and stress filled situation I saw the atmosphere completely change.
Scripture talks about us being the light of the world. In that situation, the ‘light’ of stepping out and doing good infected those around and encouraged them to do good also.
The light we carry can be contagious to those around us. Every day there are God opportunities to change the atmosphere from dark to light.
The question is, are we willing to step into them?
