Have you ever decided to do something and run into one obstacle after another?
A couple of years ago we put our house on the market. After weeks and weeks, it was not selling.
As I wrestled with this a verse from James chapter 4 stuck out to me.
James warns us not to make decisions as though our lives are all our own rather than a life committed to God.
I realised that we had made the decision to sell without asking God.
Have you ever made a decision without consulting God?
We get caught up in our lives so much that we don’t even think about inviting God’s wisdom into our decisions.
Are there decisions in your life that you are making on your own? I wonder if God wants you to stop and seek His wisdom to help you make the best possible decision today.
