How do you feel about being kept waiting?
I used to really struggle with waiting. Nothing frustrated me more than having to wait for something that I had set my heart on.
When I think about waiting, Joseph always comes to mind. I wonder whether Joseph ever got frustrated while he was waiting in prison?
The time waiting is a valuable part of moving into the next part of our journey.
Often we can think that God is not doing anything with us in the waiting.
So often we are focused on the big God story that we are in danger of missing all the little God stories that are going on in-between.
Waiting is something we all have to do. When we invest in the waiting rather than enduring it we will see that opportunities come along that make the waiting worthwhile.
