Memorable Moments: Hour of power

Do you find yourself getting worn out from have to constantly give out to others?

When my children were young we used to have a daily hour of power. This time was used to clean up and organize ourselves for the next day.

I would like to suggest to you that there is an even more important hour of power!

A time where you receive God’s refreshment and empowerment for the day ahead.

Acts 17:28 says, For in Him we live, move and exist.

When we commit to spending time with God no matter how long, allowing Him to speak into our lives, He gives us the strength and equipping we need to face what today has to offer.

Have you ever noticed that on airplanes in an emergency they ask you to fit your oxygen mask before helping others?

Spending time with God is like your oxygen mask keeping you alert and available to help others while not wearing yourself out.
